I embroidered this elegant work after a model by Paola Barbieri from her book 'Il Reticello' (ISBN 978-88-904952-4-3), published by Il Punto Antico in 2012 and currently very hard to find.

Le modèle original du livre est présenté dans des couleurs vives, d'où son nom Primavera (Printemps). J'ai préféré pour autant de broder ma propre version en blanc.
The original model in the book is presented in lively colours, hence its name Primavera (Spring). Yet, I chose to embroider my own version in white.
